Ingredients

  • 250 gr. American Harvest Elbows pasta
  • 1 diced chicken breast
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1/3 thinly chopped onion
  • 1 big garlic clove, thinly chopped
  • 2 Tbsp parsley or marjoram leaves
  • 3 Tbsp softened butter
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ spoonful nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the pasta according to the package’s instructions with a pinch of salt, and save some pasta water when draining. Cook the pasta according to the package’s instructions with a pinch of salt.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste, and in a pan with a small amount of oil, lightly brown the chicken. When done, to medium heat finish cooking the chicken. Melt the butter in a pan to low heat, add the garlic, onion and sauté. Add the cream and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the nutmeg, mix well, and bring to a boil. Add the chicken to the sauce and mix well. Once the pasta is ready, drain and add to the sauce with the chicken. Serve and sprinkle thinly chopped parsley on top.
Tip: you can add grated gouda cheese on top if desired.
